"Great is Thy faithfulness...!"

My junior year of college has been going well! I'm finishing up my basic classes and starting on my classes for my major, which mixes in some fun w/ the dull. Over the past month or so of being back in Ellensburg, it's been fun to catch up with friends, get back into my church here, and meet new people. I'm working at the daycare at my church again this year and I've mostly been in the 1 yr. old room. My kids make me laugh...they're pretty crazy. :o) I'm living w/ my sister Emily and we're having fun cooking for ourselves, enjoying our own place, and getting to hang out whenever (without walking in the cold clear across campus). Being back at SALT (the college group at church) is wonderful! It's such an encouragement and challenge in my life! Oh, and I'm working with the youth group here (called IMPACT) now too....I'm LOVING it!! Tonight we're doing a rake-&-run, which will be cold, but really good. I was able to head home to Sunnyside a couple weekends ago to help with our district youth rally (all the Grace Brethren Churches in the northwest get together for the weekend). It turned out pretty well and it was good to catch up with different youth in the district, people from my church at home, and my family!

God's been using various situations in my life and almost all of the lessons at church, SALT, IMPACT, my devotions, and conversations with friends to remind me about "trust." Reminders of how I can't do things on my own. Reminders of how BIG He is, and how small I am. Reminders of my need to trust God in everything. Reminders of God's faithfulness in the past that encourages me to trust Him now. Basically, I've been blessed way beyond what I deserve!

Just like the words of this song, I want to live in this way:

"I will live to love You / I will live to bring You praise / I will live a child in awe of You!"
